We have enjoyed learning some cooking basics with the Mary Frances Cookbook by Jane Eayre Fryer. This book has long been out of print, but Feeding America: The Historic American Cookbook Project has digitally stored 200 years worth of America's favorite and famous cookbooks. I look forward to exploring this site even further as we begin our study of American history.
