Yesterday, Edison announced a contest for his brother and sister. "Whoever cleans their room the neatest first, will win a great prize!" The prize? Edison would vacuum the room and create some individualized "Room Rules" for the lucky winner. Rose and St. George were enthusiastic. They both determined to win the prize and spent hours cleaning their rooms. Why had I never thought of this before? Oh, yeah, I had, but it flopped. I guess I just couldn't sell it as well as Edison.
Last evening Edison announced the winner. Rose beamed. St. George slumped in his chair. Edison said, "Don't worry Georgie, we'll do this again sometime."
This morning, all three lugged the vacuum cleaner upstairs. Soon the sounds of vacuuming shook the house. Suddenly, all vacuuming stopped. About ten minutes later Rose came to get me. Edison, in an attempt at thoroughness, had somehow gotten stuck in Rose's closet. We tried everything to get him out, then we called Todd. After his fit of laughter subsided, we tried everything again. I am proud to say I did not laugh at all, not even once. I have personal experience with embarrassing vacuum-operator relations.

I doubt it, but I could have Edison come over and suggest it for you ;-)
That's hilarious! Can you get him to come have that contest at my house?
I'm glad you were able to extricate him :-)
Look Jen, I figured out how to comment on the comments! It only took me a year and a half...
