One Toe in the Water...

"A Weblog might be the perfect outlet for your random access brain," my husband informed me. Random access brain? I am offended . . . I think. Anyway, the comment did not get the reaction he expected. I blinked.

I am suspicious of technology. It lures the unsuspecting into dependancy, and at the critical moment deletes the first twenty pages of a mid-term paper on Shakespeare; or it runs out of toner half an hour before a year end project is due; or, well, I am suspicious of technology.

And yet the opportunity to utter thoughts into cyberspace without fear of reprisals is finally more than I can resist. So, here I am. Cautiously dipping a toe into the world of the "blogger." And I can post anything I want? Poems? Recipes? Stories about my kids? I have a perfect idea for tomorrow, Good Friday. I will post a recipe for Hot Cross Buns. If I can find it. My filing system is a little, well, random.

You can post anything you like, ma'am; the blogosphere is open to everyone and everything, including recipes for hot cross buns. Enjoy!
