Rose and I drooled over a catalogue sent to us from Park Seeds. The catalogue included a coupon for first time customers and we just couldn't resist. We reluctantly decided to save the white dahlias for next year and ordered some unusual gladiolus. They have arrived! It looks like the worst of the rain might be over and we are itching to plant these corms. We bought Impressive and Fragrant gladiolus.
Edison has found the perfect little woodland nook for primroses. He is excited to get some bits of color growing in the forest.
And what would St. George like to plant this year? He lights up. Evidently, he has been thinking about this for some time. "A path," he says firmly. Any plants? "No. Just a path. . . but a really nice path."
