The sun is out and it is Library Day!
I really should wait to check out my favorite end-of-summer book, By the Light of the Captured Moon by Julian Scheer, but the sun is so warm and the bees are humming....
The illustrations are charming, but it is the story that draws me. Fantasy and reality coexist so smoothly in this story, just as they do at my house, on a summer day, when the sun is just warm enough to make reality a little blurry.

Just by looking at the cover of the book, the illlustrations look warm and lovely. I will have to check it out and see if they have it at our library. Thanks for the suggestion!
