A Range of Emotions
After practicing balancing an arrow on the end of his finger, Edison came in to report that the dog was amazed at his trick. This I had to see. Yep, "amazed" in a dog looks sort of like boredom mixed with concern for his own safety mixed with anticipation of a snack. It's something to see. It starts out like a yawn, is interrupted by raised eyebrows and then the hair on his neck and ears stick up. Amazing! Oh, and Edison's trick was neat too.

I find this is a story that brings a most wonderful warmth. Why this story - because I can hear the excitement in the announcement - the grin during the "event" - and I am delighted at how easily you stop to share in the "big event". Thanks,
Rabbit
