Weeding

When I have a large area to weed I employ my secret weapon--St. George. With a hoe in his hand, nothing within a three foot radius stands a chance (which is why I try to stand at least six feet away). He takes to his work with a dedication and enthusiasm so little seen in weeders these days. Within a short time he has slain his thousands, his ten thousands. The daring knight and his trusty farm implement clear the land completely. In the heat of battle, he cuts down friend and foe alike.
. . . I keep him away from the perennials.
